Climax today announced that it will have a booth in the Career Pavilion at this year's Game Developers Conference (GDC) in San Jose, California. The company is looking to recruit developers for a number of positions at its Los Angeles studio, including artists, programmers, designers, and a VP of development.
"The level and range of talent out there right now is staggering," said Climax CEO Karl Jeffery. "We pride ourselves on consistently making high quality, technologically advanced, wildly entertaining games, and this depends on having the top talent in our studios. Securing a recruitment booth at GDC was a surefire way to reach the kind of people we want working at Climax."
The new hires will be part of some exciting initiatives that Climax has planned for this year, including the development of a next-generation console title, a number of PSP titles in the company's handheld division, and work on upcoming games, such as Sudeki and Warhammer Online. A list of current vacancies for Climax's Los Angeles studio can be found at the company's official Web site.
