Cinemaware, developer of a number of now-classic Amiga games in the early 80s and 90s has officially reopened its doors after having been dormant for nearly a decade. A press release was issued this morning stating that the company responsible for such popular games as Defender of the Crown, The King of Chicago, and It Came from the Desert is now back in business and it currently intends to remake a number of its original hits using the development tools, graphics, and sound effects that populate today's games.
The company was recently reestablished by a handful of ex-Activision developers, and it will be releasing new information on its upcoming games in the near future. Nostalgic gamers, be sure to check out the newly opened Cinemaware web site, which is linked to the right.
