Brian Pulido, whose Chaos! Comics staple of characters includes Lady Death and Evil Ernie, announced on Thursday that his company will hold a Chaos! Rocks Quake II contest
Pulido is looking for 3D artists, 3D modelers, and, as he puts it, "video gamers, computer artists, and novice computer users" to create a 3D version of one of his characters to be used as a 3D player plug-in model for Quake II.
Chaos! Comics will be accepting submissions via e-mail or disk running from Oct 1 through Dec 31. Prizes will be awarded to "Best Overall Model," "Best Evil Ernie," and "Best Lady Death." Winners will be announced on the Chaos! Comics' web site on Jan. 15, 1999, and prizes include computers, video games, graphics software, and Chaos! Products, according to a statement released by the company.
