Capcom dropped by the videogames.com offices today to show off its upcoming fighting games. Here's a look at what we saw in Street Fighter Alpha 3.
The third game in the Alpha series is looking very nice on the PlayStation. All three fighting styles (X-ism, A-ism, and V-ism) are in the game.
The fighting style selection governs how your super meter is used. X-ism treats it like Super Street Fighter II Turbo, where your character only had one super combo. However, it is very powerful. A-ism is Alpha-style, and your characters will have multiple combos a la the first Alpha. V-ism allows you to do SFA2-style custom combos. There will be modes in SFA3 that weren't in the arcade version, but Capcom is keeping those a secret...for now.
Look for Street Fighter 3 to hit shelves in March.
