Codemasters today announced that it's releasing Cannon Fodder for the Game Boy Color. The company created the classic real-time strategy game in 1993 for the PC- a version that sold more than 600,000 units. The company hired the game's original programmer, Julian Jameson, to lead the programming team in the production of the Game Boy Color version. "Cannon Fodder is a proven brand, and hard-core gamers continue to hold it in high regard," said Michael Hayes, Codemasters' worldwide head of sales and marketing. "Bringing the excitement of the game to Game Boy Color is a continuation of our commitment to provide quality gaming entertainment wherever you go."
Codemasters expects Cannon Fodder for the Game Boy Color to hit store shelves in June 2000.
