Over the weekend, Sweden-based developer Starbreeze announced the cancellation of Sorcery. The game was intended to be a first-person-perspective fantasy RPG and was slated to be published by Gremlin Interactive, until Gremlin was bought out by Infogrames earlier last year. Apparently, Infogrames terminated its contract with Starbreeze in January, effectively canceling development on Sorcery.
Starbreeze claims that it still retains all rights to use the game's 3D engine for any future projects. Company officials have posted a number of screenshots and musical scores taken from the now-defunct game, which you can check out by following the link on the right.
