Call of Duty: Modern Warfare III Could Be Getting AMD FSR 3 Frame Generation Support
Call of Duty: Modern Warfare III Could Be Getting AMD FSR 3 Frame Generation Support-October 2024
Oct 25, 2024 6:36 AM

Call of Duty: Modern Warfare III could be getting AMD FSR 3 frame generation support in the future, judging from some recent findings.

Reddit user TheHybred recently reported to have found mention of AMD FSR 3 frame generation in the game's files, suggesting support could be coming in a future update, as AMD tech was not mentioned in the game's earlier versions. Frame generation can also be enabled, but sadly, it does not work yet.

The introduction of AMD FSR 3 frame generation support could work great in a competitive game such as Call of Duty: Modern Warfare III since it also features the company's Anti-Lag+ technology. NVIDIA DLSS 3 Frame Generation is also already supported in all of the game's modes, so implementation of FSR 3 frame generation will allow users with all GPUs to take advantage of technology and have a much better experience.

Call of Duty: Modern Warfare III is now available on PC, PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X, Xbox Series S and Xbox One. You can learn more about the latest entry in the series, which was reportedly developed in only one year and a half, by checking out our review.

A weak campaign with an unsatisfactory cliffhanger resolution, a Zombies map that's little more than rebranded DMZ, and a selection of multiplayer maps taken straight from Modern Warfare II (2009), Modern Warfare III barely stands up on its own merits, especially if you've thrown countless hours into last year's entry and have plenty to carry forward.
