For many music fans, Bruce Springsteen's glory days have long since passed him by. But The Boss is enjoying a renaissance of late. His contribution to Darren Aronofsky's latest film The Wrestler garnered a Golden Globe Award for Best Original Song this weekend. He's been booked as the halftime entertainment for this year's Super Bowl. And on January 27, his new album Working on a Dream hits stands.
Also on January 27, Springsteen is set to make his gaming debut with the addition of two songs to Guitar Hero World Tour. For the first week of the new album's release, gamers with the Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, and Wii editions of World Tour will be able to download Springsteen's classic "Born to Run" as well as "My Lucky Day" from the new album.
Both songs will be free to download for the first week. However, starting February 5, Xbox 360 and PS3 owners will have to pay $4 (320 Microsoft points) for the two songs bundled, while Wii owners will be able to buy them as singles for 200 Wii points ($2) each.
