Eight teams will arrive in New York next week in order to take part in New York's largest esports event ESL One New York which is set to kick off on the 9th/10th of October, 2014. It will be the first major Western LAN since the release of 6.82 and subsequent 6.82b.
A base prize pool of $100,000 will be on the line along with the extra revenue from Dota TV ticket sales and an upcoming ESL One New York item bundle.
All of the matches including the Grand Finals will be played in a Best of Three format in the Theater at Madison Square Garden.
