Borderlands developer Gearbox Software announced today that it will attend next month's LGBTQ-friendly convention GaymerX2 where it will host a presentation about inclusivity in games and let attendees play the unreleased shooter Borderlands: The Pre-Sequel.

　　Gearbox's talk, called "Gearbox Software's GaymerX Spectacular," will take place Friday, July 11 from 1-1:45 p.m. PDT. CEO Randy Pitchford and other developers will speak about how they have attempted to make their games more inclusive and what more they can do in the future. Space is reportedly limited, so you're encouraged to RSVP on the official panel page.

　　Separately, 2K Games--which publishes the Borderlands series--announced on Twitter that it will bring an unspecified WWE game (perhaps WWE 2K15) to GaymerX2. The official WWK 2K Twitter account added, "More info coming soon!"

　　This year's three-day event, funded through Kickstarter and to be held July 11-13 in San Francisco, will focus on celebrating diversity and inclusivity in gaming, and will feature a range of panels and talks with developers and LGBTQ leaders. Speakers this year include veteran BioWare writer David Gaider, Reddit co-founder Alexis Ohanian, and writer Mattie Brice. Musicians Virt, 2Mello, and Aethernaut will perform at the event.
