Climax Graphics, a spin-off from Climax, has signed up to develop a title for the Sega Dreamcast called Blue Stringer. The company has released screenshots to the public through its web site. Screens of it also appear in this week's Sega Saturn Magazine.

　　Reactions to the screenshots are obvious - the game looks beautiful with a vast color palette, enhanced 3D effects, and well-populated level designs to give an almost arcade-like feel to the game. If Resident Evil's gameplay was in real time, this might be what it would look like (and wow, does it look good).

　　This is another game that really shows off the DC hardware. Like Sonic, this game is so far the best one we've seen in terms of graphics that it's pushing around the screen, and there's an amazing attention to detail.

　　Blue Stinger is an action-adventure game for one player and will be released before the end of 1998. There are four main characters - Eliot G. Ballad, Dogs Bower, Janean King, and Neffilim. Eliot and Neffilim seem to be the main characters with the others as supporting cast.

　　Blue Stinger will be published by Sega in Japan. It's a very good bet that Blue Stinger will show up in the US, as well.
