Black Panther: Wakanda Forever continues the trend, with the movie's Disney+ premiere becoming the streaming service's most-watched Marvel movie yet, according to Disney.
Black Panther: Wakanda Forever is "the most-watched Marvel film premiere on Disney+ globally, based on hours streamed in its first five days," according to a new press release from the entertainment giant.
Black Panther: Wakanda Forever hit theaters in November 2022, where it took the crown for the biggest November movie opening in the United States. The original Black Panther, meanwhile, had the biggest February opening. The original film raked in a staggering 1.36 billion at the worldwide box office, while Wakanda Forever finished out with 830 million, despite having to shift its entire script and protagonist following the death of Chadwick Boseman.
