Black Ops Cold War Down Again, Activision Investigating Sever Connectivity Issues
Black Ops Cold War Down Again, Activision Investigating Sever Connectivity Issues-October 2024
Oct 24, 2024 8:21 AM

Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War is, once again, experiencing an outage on all platforms. Publisher Activision has announced that it is investigating the issue, though there is no confirmation of what is causing players to disconnect from the game's servers.

According to Activision's support page, the only title affected is Black Ops Cold War, seemingly leaving Call of Duty: Warzone's servers in the clear. All platforms are experiencing connectivity issues, however, with the publisher saying the "incident is under investigation." Downdetector reports that most of the problems, about 92%, stem from server connection.

This recent outage reflects one similar that occurred in both Black Ops Cold War and Warzone last week. At that time, reports claimed players were seeing long queues when trying to get into games. Most other players just could not connect to either game's servers at all. Activision has since fixed last week's issue, but it seems Black Ops Cold War is once again throttling.

In other Call of Duty news, a UK fugitive found himself arrested after trying to buy Black Ops Cold War. The man was serving a 17-year sentence before breaking out of prison in November 2020. Meanwhile, Warzone's Verdansk is rumored to get "totally destroyed" on March 11.
