CIS garnered notoriety for their performance during the recent Sina Cup, upstaging the new superteam NewBee and taking a game off of DK before being dropped out of the competition by Black's parent team, LGD.

　　Black's future looked grim recently as he looked to have lost hope of finding a Chinese team and having set his sights on returning to Europe. However, the recent health problems of Xu 'BurNIng' Zhilei gave Black a shot at standing in for the team and showed that he could work within a Chinese organization, as he did an admirable job even though DK ended up losing the game against DreamTime. It's likely that this performance played a considerable role in opening the doors necessary for Black to now find himself playing for CIS.

　　For the time being, there has been no mention of LGD releasing Black from his contract, or of CIS wanting to buy him out. It is likely that the team wishes to see how Black fits into their unconventional picking style before making a final decision on the matter.
