Today, Larian Studios made available a demo from its upcoming Beyond Divinity, the sequel to 2002's Divine Divinity. The 173MB level, which can be downloaded from GameSpot DLX, features a good portion of the game's first act. Players will assume the guise of a disciple of the Divine, an organization dedicated to wiping out evil necromancers and sorcerers. Unfortunately, said disciple is "soul-forged" to a demonic death knight that he is trying to destroy. (Can you say "odd couple?") Beyond Divinity is due in stores on April 13 and will sell for an MSRP of $39.99.
