GMG goes on to say it is hoping the patch "will be released soon," but will provide refunds if it does not help.
"We want you to enjoy your game," it says. "But if after the fix has been released, you still cannot play your game, we will process refund requests for the game."
For those that purchased the game through Valve's Steam platform, requests for refunds can be submitted within 30-days of initial purchase. This is due to a platform-wide refund policy for all Steam games.
The PC version of Batman: Arkham Knight has been hit with noticeable bugs, glitches, and other performance issues. These have been particularly severe for those using AMD graphics cards.
Gary Lake-Schall, the VP of game technology at Warner Bros Interactive, has admitted "there are some known issues with the performance of Batman: Arkham Knight for PC owners using AMD graphics cards."
He said: "We are working closely with AMD to rectify these issues as quickly as possible and will provide updates here as they become available. We thank you for your patience in this matter."
Meanwhile, principal developer Rocksteady Studios has said "this is something that [the studio] takes very seriously."
"We are working closely with our external PC development partner to make sure these issues get resolved as quickly as possible," it continued.
The PC version of Batman: Arkham Knight was ported by Iron Galaxy Studios. It previously worked on the PC port of Batman: Arkham Origins, which had a similarly rocky launch on the platform.
