Larian Studios has already released multiple "hotfixes" for Baldur's Gate 3 that have addressed more than 650 items, but now the studio is preparing to release the game's first patch, and it sounds like a big one.
Larian boss Swen Vincke said on Twitter that in addition to a fourth hotfix, the studio is planning "Patch 1," which will contain 1,000+ fixes and tweaks. Patch 2 is coming after this, and it will incorporate "some requests" made by fans so far, but Vincke did not provide any specifics.
"We're all very enthused by your feedback," Vincke said. "It's very rewarding."
We're all very enthused by your feedback. It's very rewarding. Our focus now is fixing any issues you report, but we are listening to suggestions. Current roadmap: a) Hotfix 4, b) Patch 1 (+1000 fixes and tweaks), c) Patch 2. The latter will already incorporate some requests.

Baldur's Gate 3 was released earlier this month and became a quick success, reaching more than 875,000 peak concurrent players to rise up the Steam charts. Over its first weekend, time spent playing Baldur's Gate 3 made up a quarter of total playtime across Steam.
The game launches on PS5 in early September, and fixes and improvements from the PC edition will be rolled into the PS5 edition, Larian has said. An Xbox version is possible as well, but Larian won't release the game until it runs well on both Xbox Series S and Series X, and that's proven to be an issue so far.
