Baldur's Gate III is now available in Steam early access for PC and Stadia (and Mac, as a last-minute surprise), but in advance of the launch, we received the official PC requirements.

　　There's no indication of what level of performance developer Larian Studios is targeting with the minimum or recommended requirements, but you can still get a sense for what kind of hardware you'll need. Larian also detailed how the minimum requirements might decrease over the course of early access as improvements are made. At some point since the system requirements were first revealed, the storage needs for the game changed from 70GB to 150GB, which is more than double the original number.

The only requirements that could demand a slight upgrade from players, is the need for a 64-bit version of Windows 10 and a hard drive with enough space to house the narrative-heavy game, which currently has 45,980 lines of dialogue in the Early Access build as compared to the 17,600 instances of speech in the early access version of Larian's previous game, Divinity: Original Sin II.
