Sony today announced that Europe's Azurite blue PlayStation 3 model will launch in the United States and Canada on October 8 exclusively at GameStop and EB Games.

　　The $250 bundle will include a super slim console, matching blue DualShock 3 wireless controller, and a 250GB hard drive. Preorders for the console are now open online and at all GameStop locations.

　　The system will only be available "for a limited time," GameStop said in a statement. The new color option launched in Europe earlier this year.

　　Sony's PlayStation 4 launches in North America on November 15, November 29 in Europe, and in 32 countries total by the end of the year.
