Each fall since 2003, the capitol city of Texas has played host to the Austin Game Conference, two days of discussion on the changing world of online gaming, from massively multiplayer efforts to casual games to networked PC and console titles. However, this year the conference will expand to a three-day affair, with Sony Online Entertainment president John Smedley, former SOE chief creative officer Raph Koster, and representatives from Austin developers Wolfpack Studios and NCsoft already on the speakers list. The Austin Game Conference 2006 will run September 6-8. For more information on the event, check out the official Web site.
