The Burning Crusade continues to torch the opposition down under, landing at the top of the Australian game sales charts for the third week in a row.
World of Warcraft's first expansion pack held off the Nintendo Wii's WarioWare: Smooth Moves to become the highest-selling game for the week of January 29 to February 4, according to data trackers GfK Australia. In the third spot was the original World of Warcraft, up one position from the previous week.
The PlayStation 2 had the most representatives in the overall top 10, with four games making the cut. Red Octane's Guitar Hero franchise had an impressive week, with the sequel and the original landing in at fifth and ninth.
The Xbox 360 also continues to have a small but persistent presence in the charts. Lost Planet slipped one place to fourth compared to the previous week's list, while Gears of War held steady at eighth.
