Some gamers may be disappointed with this week's barren digital download roundup, but with only a handful of new games coming out, it may finally provide the chance to play some of the many great games already out.
The most interesting game to be released across the network stores is Daytona USA for Xbox Live Arcade. This is the same classic racing you know and love, but it has been given a makeover with steering wheel support and multiplayer. The game will hit the PlayStation Network later this year. The other major title to arrive on Xbox Live Arcade this week is Zombie Apocalypse: Never Die Alone, which is a top-down twin-stick shooter featuring, unsurprisingly, zombies.
Over on the Nintendo front, Game Boy platformer Burger Time has been given a 3D face-lift and will be rereleased for Nintendo 3DS owners. Fans after a Halloween hit will be able to boogie along to Gabrielle's Ghostly Groove: Monster Mix. Don't be fooled into thinking that this is one for the adults, though, as it features kid-friendly monsters and an original, cheery soundtrack.
Last but not least is the PlayStation Network Store. There's not a lot of new content here this week, just a few previously released PS3 games and several PlayStation Portable Mini compilations.
