Will you assemble the Avengers team and defend Earth or side with iconic Disney characters to unlock the power of two?
Wii U owners will be happy to see more games for the console available for sale this week. Marvel Avengers: Battle for Earth is a game inspired by the iconic Marvel comics and is based on the Secret Invasion storyline.
Developed by Ubisoft Quebec, the third-person action game features twenty playable characters from the Marvel universe, including characters that did not appear in The Avengers film.
Hulk smash! Each character possesses four unique super powers that can be executed via the Wii U's touch-enabled gamepad. The game offers a variety of modes for play, including co-operative, campaign, arcade, and versus.
Disney Interactive Studios' new game Epic Mickey 2: The Power of Two will also be out on the Wii U this week. Sequel to the 2010 Wii-exclusive Disney Epic Mickey, the game boasts a co-op mode, full voice acting, and a tilt toward music. Players will be able to assume the role of Mickey Mouse or Oswald the Lucky Rabbit as they work together to combat a new enemy.
Spector spoke out against the game industry’s focus on shooters and violence earlier this year, so expect co-operative family-friendly fun.
Don't own a Wii U? PC expansion Tropico 4: Modern Times will be on sale this week. Modern Times is an expansion to 2011's simulation game, Tropico 4, in which players took on the responsibility of constructing and managing islands from the ground up.
Tropico 4: Modern Times features a new single-player campaign that takes place a year after the events of the original title. Players once again assume the role of El Presidente, and must modernise their island nation whilst battling opposing forces.
Other titles out this week include Pro Evolution Soccer 2013 3D and Sonic & All-Stars Racing Transformed for the PlayStation Vita. Check out the full list of new releases below.
