Red Storm Entertainment announced Monday that it has teamed up with AT&T's WorldNet Internet provider, the latest in a number of deals made by Red Storm prior to the release of the anticipated Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six in August.
Red Storm will offer AT&T WorldNet as a "preferred" Internet provider in at least three of its upcoming games, and WorldNet will provide facilities to play these games (Rainbow Six, Dominant Species, and Tom Clancy's ruthless.com).
"The agreement with Red Storm Entertainment will introduce games enthusiasts to the power of the Internet and the many benefits of becoming a WorldNet subscriber, including toll-free comprehensive customer service, a free 5-megabyte personal web page, and superior navigational tools to let users reach the information they want easily and quickly," said Dean Colantino, director of marketing and advertising for AT&T WorldNet. "Working with Red Storm fits perfectly within our overall objective of offering rapid, direct access to a wide array of services on the Internet, ranging from breaking news to online shopping to e-mail."
"AT&T WorldNet Service is one of the most well-known Internet providers in the world, and we're proud to give our customers access to this first-rate service," said Doug Littlejohns, president and CEO of Red Storm Entertainment. "The agreement with AT&T is an important step in a growing marketing program that is designed to bring Red Storm to the forefront of the computer gaming industry."
