Activision is set to ship its 3D version of the fondly remembered arcade game Asteroids; and wouldn't you know it, the company picked the date of an actual meteor shower to do so.
The Leonid meteor shower, which Activision says the US Space Command regards as the most intense meteor storm in over 30 years, will begin on or about Nov. 10. And that's the date that Activision is releasing its update of the game, for both PC and PlayStation platforms.
