Assassin's Creed Rogue Trailer, November 11 Release Date Leak-October 2024
Oct 28, 2024 12:22 AM

[UPDATE] Ubisoft has officially announced Assassin's Creed Rogue. Read more about it here.

  The original story is below.

The evidence for unannounced Assassin's Creed game, Assassin's Creed Rogue, continues to mount. After a retailer posted a listing for the game last week, a new trailer and a release date have now emerged. Access the Animus has obtained a handful of images for the rumored game, which were pulled from a trailer. The images show off Assassin's Creed Rogue's box art and at least one of the game's settings, which looks like somewhere in the Arctic.

The box art is for Xbox 360, but a PlayStation 3 version is also believed to be in the works. The leaked images also shows a Templar who looks like he is about to finish an Assassin. This matches up with a previous rumor that suggested the game would let you play as a Templar. It remains to be seen how Assassin's Creed Rogue and Assassin's Creed Unity (in development only for Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and PC) might sync up.

The leaked images also reveal a November 11 release date, which is a Tuesday, the day games are typically released in North America. In addition, the leak shows that DLC for the game will initially include the Ultimate Hunter Pack, as well as a bonus mission called The Siege of Fort de Sable.

"Ubisoft doesn't comment on rumors and speculations," a spokesperson for Ubisoft told Eurogamer. We have followed up with Ubisoft for additional comment or clarification on today's news.

It would not be surprising at all to learn Ubisoft is planning to release a new Assassin's Creed title for Xbox 360 and PS3 this year. After all, there are more than 160 million of those systems in homes today. In addition, top Ubisoft management has said that that fans of the Assassin's Creed series who have not upgraded to the new generation of consoles won't be left in the cold this year.
