Sure, Army of Two may have ridden roughshod over the topical subject of hired mercenaries supplementing a professional army, but that shouldn't keep people from playing the game, right? By way of EA's official forums, EA assistant producer Matt Turner today confirmed that a demo for the game will hit Xbox Live on April 1. EA has confirmed for GameSpot that no such demo will be released for the PlayStation 3.
What will be coming for both PS3 and X360 gamers, however, will be downloadable content. Turner said that new DLC will be arriving "in the not-too-distant future" that will add a new adversarial battleground and two new co-op maps. A future content update will also add the SSC Challenge mode, which is an obstacle course for mercenaries.
