Electronic Arts has just shipped Sid Meier's Alpha Centauri Planetary Pack, which combines Firaxis' acclaimed 1999 turn-based strategy game Sid Meier's Alpha Centauri with its expansion pack Alien Crossfire in a single package. The Planetary Pack contains the 14 different playable factions, the random map generator, and the huge technology tree that made Alpha Centauri and its expansion pack successful. However, the Planetary Pack contains no additional features or content beyond what's already contained in the original game and its expansion.
The Planetary Pack will retail for US$39 and will be available in stores later this week.
