Alienware launches international gaming tournament-October 2024

  PC gaming brand Alienware has announced the launch of an Asia-Pacific online gaming tournament. The tournament will span across Australia, New Zealand, South East Asia, India, Japan and China, with registrations open from July 11. The tournament will have a prize pool of US$13,000, which will be awarded to the top performing teams throughout the competition.

  The winning DOTA 2 team will have the opportunity to represent their country at the Asian Cyber Games.

  The tournament format is tiered to cater to both professionals and amateurs, and includes titles such as Dota 2, League of Legends, and Team Fortress 2. The victorious teams from each game's online league will qualify for the national finals in October, which will determine the winners throughout Australia and New Zealand.

  Additionally, the winning DOTA 2 team will have the opportunity to represent their country at the Asian Cyber Games DOTA 2 Grand Finals in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. Alienware will also provide US$10,000 travel expenditure for the team.
