Ninjas in Pyjamas have officially announced their new roster for the second European Challenger Series.
The Swedish organization were forced to head into rebuilding mode once again as two of their most prolific players, Nukeduck and Mithy, were suspended by Riot Games due to multiple in-game infractions.
The team has been trialling different players for a while now, including former SK Prime mid laner Exileh and current Unicorns of Love mid laner Power of Evil but have eventually decided to pick up the current Gambit substitute Lucas “Cabochard” Simon-Meslet and have opted to move Alex Ich back to his illustrious position of mid lane.
Statement from NiP's analyst Clement Chu:
After testing out several configurations with the team, we eventually decided that it would be best to have Alex_Ich back in the mid lane and bring in Cabochard to the top lane. Cabochard has worked with Alex to sharpen his top lane game before, and we knew that he was a strong, energetic player. Our previous midlaner, Powerofevil, was an extremely talented individual as well, but having Cabo top was simply an upgrade at two positions we couldn’t pass up. I feel confident in our team now the roster is settled and it reflects in out scrim record.
Statement from Lucas “Cabochard” Simon-Meslet:
It was a pleasure for me to join a known organization such as NiP, and I’m really happy to join the roster with really talented and experienced players. We are getting along well, and I feel like we’re a band of brothers ingame. I’m looking forward to see what we”ll achieve with this team.
