The Academy of Interactive Arts and Sciences (AIAS) has recently updated its official Web site with details of the finalists for this year's Annual Interactive Achievement Awards. The Academy will present awards in no fewer than 36 craft, console, computer, and online categories at a ceremony in Las Vegas on March 4. Electronic Arts is leading the way right now with 29 finalists, although Ubisoft and SCEA aren't far behind with 23 and 21 respectively.
"We are looking forward to recognizing truly outstanding achievement in video games at our seventh Annual Awards event," said Gordon Bellamy, executive director of the AIAS. "The developers and publishers who will be honored at this event have helped to establish the video game industry as the fastest-growing form of entertainment throughout the world."
The nominations for this year's prestigious overall game of the year award are as follows:

Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time - Ubisoft
Ratchet & Clank: Going Commando - SCEA
