WildTangent and Sony Pictures Entertainment announced today that they are working together to produce an interactive online game based on Sony's upcoming movie A Knight's Tale. The game is played through e-mail, and players assume the role of a knight and compete against other players in a full 3D arena. Players can select the general strategy for their knight and choose from several different kinds of equipment, including 10 sets of armor, 10 swords, and 10 shields. As players win more battles, they gain additional skills and more gold to purchase items and weaponry.
The game will be made available for download through the official A Knight's Tale Web site at the end of March.
