360 Call of Juarez sounding in summer-October 2024
Oct 27, 2024 2:32 PM

Back in 2005, Polish developer Techland (Chrome) announced it was working on Call of Juarez, a first-person shooter set in the American Wild West. Originally, the game was announced for the PC and Xbox. However, right around the time Ubisoft agreed to publish the game last year, the console edition was quietly canceled.

Today, Ubisoft revealed that Call of Juarez is once again saddling up for a console release. Unsurprisingly, given the previous work, the game is set to become the second Western-themed shooter on the Xbox 360, after the tepidly received launch title Gun. For more information on the game, check out GameSpot's interview with Techland's director of development, Pawel Zawodny.

Ubisoft also revealed the release window for Call of Juarez--the game will come to both the 360 and PC this summer. No rating information is available, but online retailer GameStop is listing the two products for $59.99 and $39.99, respectively.
