Darmstadt, Germany-based 10Tacle Studios has reported its first half of 2007 earnings, which see the company continuing to perform well. Revenue was up to 19.4 million euros ($26.4 million), up by over 50 percent over last year's 12.71 million euros ($17.3 million) for the equivalent time period. Earnings before interest and taxes were also up to 3.37 million euros ($4.6 million), a 45 percent leap on the 2.3 million euros ($3.1 million) reported in the first half of 2006.
10Tacle Studios' forecast for the rest of 2007 is for figures of approximately 52 million euros ($71 million) in revenue, and 9.3 million euros ($12.7 million) in earnings before sales and taxes. Earnings per share were 0.33 euros (45 cents) as of June 30.
The developer attributed the revenue and earnings growth to a number of different factors, including a 14 million-euro ($19 million) cash injection from the Asia Games and Media Private Equity Fund based in Singapore, which has allowed the company to expand into Asia.
Upcoming 10Tacle titles include Elveon, a fantasy action role-playing game, in which gamers play a warrior elf attempting to liberate the city of Nimathar.
