Nintendo’s Zelda Breath of the Wild outsold the recently released Mass Effect Andromeda, Horizon Zero Dawn and Ghost Recon Wildlands for the month of March.

　　That’s what German tabloid Bild.de reports based on sales data from market researcher GfK Entertainment in cooperation with the BIU (Federal Association of Interactive Entertainment Software).

　　The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild for both the Nintendo Switch and Wii U takes the first spot, while Horizon Zero Dawn for PlayStation 4 claims the second spot. Ubisoft’s Ghost Recon Wildlands takes the third spot, while EA’s Mass Effect Andromeda grabs the fourth spot in the list.

　　An interesting list for sure as most Ghost Recon Wildlands and Mass Effect Andromeda are both multi-platform titles, while Horizon Zero Dawn has only been released on Sony’s PS4. As said, Zelda Breath of the Wild was released on both Wii U and Nintendo Switch, but the Switch version has been greatly dominating the Wii U version since its release last month. In all honesty, both Breath of the Wild and Horizon Zero Dawn were released several weeks ahead of the recently released Mass Effect Andromeda, but sales figures for these titles remain impressive.

　　Mass Effect Andromeda and Ghost Recon Wildlands are available now for PC, PS4 and Xbox One.
