Zelda Breath Of The Wild, the new entry in the series released last week on Switch and Wii U in all regions, is very unlikely coming to other formats, but PC players with a powerful machine have the chance to try out the Wii U version of the game through the Cemu emulator. In just a week, the game is already looking better on PC than on the Nintendo consoles thanks to the works of several dedicated users.

　　A new video shared by YamGaming shows Zelda Breath Of The Wild running on the Cemu emulator 1.7.3 with the 4K graphics pack, which makes the game look much better than on the Switch. Sadly, performance is still far from being optimal, so the game is not exactly playable, but it's still interesting to see how far the emulator has gone.

　　Thankfully, it seems like it won't take that long for Zelda Breath Of The Wild to reach a playable state with as little glitches as possible. According to the developer, it will take between 2 and 4 months for the game to be in a state where it can be played from start to finish.

　　Note that fixing ALL bugs in the game can take years but it should be comparable to Xenoblade Chronicles X in a few months.

　　Zelda Breath Of The Wild is being regarded as one of the finest entries in the series. In his review, Dave noted how the game set a new bar for open world gaming.

　　Minor technical problems aside, this is one of gaming’s greatest and most storied series returning with something we’ve never seen before. Breaking all the conventions of the series, and even a few general gaming conventions, Breath of the Wild is essential for any self-respecting gamer. A new bar has been set in open world gaming.
