Nintendo has announced the launch of new cartoons featuring characters from The Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker HD and Pikmin 3. The shows will be released on Nintendo Video, an application which is used to watch videos using the handheld Nintendo 3DS console.

　　Shows to be released include The Legend of Zelda: The Misadventures of Link, which features Zelda series protagonist Link in a "new and hysterical light", and Pikmin Nature Documentaries which focuses on the titular Pikmin species.

　　Additionally, new shows from the creators of Adventure Time as well as Meat or Die will also be released.

　　Nintendo Video is a free application which can be downloaded onto the 3DS from the Nintendo eShop. Videos are cycled out on a weekly basis. Users access videos using the SpotPass feature.

　　Nintendo has sold more than 31.09 million 3DS units and 95.03 million 3DS games since its launch in 2011. Super Mario 3D Land remains the top selling game on the console, with 8.29 million copies sold worldwide.
