Z-Axis, Ltd. announced today that it has moved its headquarters from one Northern California location to another--Hayward to Foster City. The Activision-owned company expects to increase head count by 50 employees, to 140 over the next year.
"We are very excited to move our studio to Bayside Towers and expect that the new facility will enable us to accommodate all of our growth needs," said Craig Alexander, vice president and general manager, Z-Axis. "We currently have two high-profile games in development based on popular comic book characters and the additional space will allow us to expand both of our teams, as well as to ramp up for pre-production on some exciting new projects."
The two Marvel Comic-based games Alexander is referring to are new X-Men and Iron Man titles, though no platforms or game details have been announced. Z-Axis' previous work includes the Aggressive Inline series and BMX XXX.
