Yuzu Nintendo Switch Emulator New Build Brings Visual Glitches Fixes, Performance Improvements in Select Games
Yuzu Nintendo Switch Emulator New Build Brings Visual Glitches Fixes, Performance Improvements in Select Games-October 2024
Oct 19, 2024 1:25 AM

A new Yuzu Early Access build that was made available earlier this week introduces some welcome emulation improvements for a variety of high-profile titles such as Pokémon Scarlet and Violet, Xenoblade Chronicles 2 and 3, and Metroid Prime Remastered, as well as performance improvements.

The Early Access 3795 build introduces a new Query/GPU counter cache, which fixes LoD issues in the aforementioned Pokémon games, lens flare in Luigi's Mansion 3, glow particles in Xenoblade Chronicles 2 and 3, and shadows in Metroid Prime Remastered. Additionally, it implements host conditional rendering, which improves performance in the games that use it, especially for low-power GPUs. The full update notes for the new build can be found right below.

Like for every Yuzu Early Access Build, the latest is only available for Patreon supporters as of now. However, it doesn't take that long for critical features to be added to the public builds, so these improvements should become available for all in the near future.

The Yuzu Nintendo Switch emulator is among the best emulators ever made, thanks to the quick development, which usually allows new releases to run on PC with better visuals and performance on day one. More information on the emulator can be found on its official website.
