The final day of 2020 is going to be a bummer for fans of The Office. The hit NBC show is leaving Netflix and headed to Peacock--NBCUniversal's streaming service. However, the series will remain on Netflix outside of the US, so if you have access to a VPN, you have nothing to worry about.
While the rights for The Office in the Unites States mean the show is moving to Peacock, The series will come to Netflix in the UK and Ireland in January. So if subscribers across the pond want something other than Ricky Gervais and Stephen Merchant's original series, they have a lot more to check out.

If you live in the United States, don't have access to Peacock--which does have a free, ad-supported tier--and you need more Nard Dog in your life, you can still watch The Office, as long as you have access to a VPN.
However, there are some pretty interesting plans for The Office on Peacock. The series arrives on the streaming service on January 1, and creator Greg Daniels has announced some cool extras. There will be new footage from the original filming available to watch for the very first time. There will be the option to watch the original or extended cuts of certain episodes, but this will be for Season 4 only at first.
