As announced during the Nintendo Direct livestream, Xenoblade Chronicles 3's third DLC wave will release on February 15. It includes a new hero, Masha (Lapidarist Extraordinaire), and new challenge battles with roguelike elements.
Masha can craft accessories--like the Pro Bangle, Chalk I that boosts agility by 27%, as seen in the DLC trailer. In the new challenge battles, there's a roguelike element where players start with one character and gain more resources--be that new characters or abilities--after winning battles. Rewards include in-game outfits for your party.

Wave 4 launches later this year and Nintendo showed a little teaser of what players can expect. A very familiar face, Shulk from Xenoblade Chronicles, shows up to square off against the (probable) antagonist of the Volume 4 story--Alvis, who is also from Xenoblade Chronicles.
Xenoblade Chronicles 3's DLC is $30. All four DLC waves--including the third one detailed during the Nintendo Direct--are included in this single expansion pass. DLC wave two also came with new challenge modes, new characters, and in-game outfits. According to the expansion pass's product description, XC3's fourth DLC wave should release by December 31, 2023.
