The development of Infogrames' first-person shooter X-COM Alliance is currently at a standstill, and the company has not decided what to do with the project. According to Jayson Hill, public relations manager for the US division of Infogrames Entertainment, "There has been no decision on whether or not the title is going forward." Hill noted that if the game were to be released, however, it would not be shipping until the end of 2001 at the earliest.
