Microsoft on Monday announced a new Xbox One bundle focused around the Halo franchise.
The Halo: The Master Chief Collection Bundle includes a system (no Kinect) and a digital copy of The Master Chief Collection. The Xbox One game comes with remastered versions of Halo 1-4 as well as access to extra goodies such as Ridley Scott's Halo: Nightfall and more.
The $350 bundle will be available at retailers worldwide this month. Microsoft cautions, however, that you should check in with your local retailer for further details regarding availability.
The Master Chief Collection was negatively impacted by bugs and other technical problems upon its release in November 2014. For some, the problems--mostly affecting the game's multiplayer mode--were so severe that players could not find matches, or if they could, those matches were lopsided. The game's problems have now been largely eradicated, which may at least partially explain why Microsoft is launching this bundle now instead of last year.
