Seamus Blackley, the co-creator and technical director of the Xbox platform, has left Microsoft to start a new venture. Details regarding Blackley's departure or the new venture have not been disclosed. Blackley was one of the most visible figures at Microsoft in the months leading up to the Xbox launch, as he was responsible for a number of early presentations demonstrating Xbox games.
