GameSpot News spoke with Acclaim on Thursday and confirmed that WWF Attitude for the Nintendo 64 and PlayStation has been delayed. According to Acclaim, the company wanted to ensure the best quality product possible.
"Because this is our final WWF wrestling title, we want to make sure that it is the best it can possibly be," said an Acclaim spokesperson. "We want to go out with a bang."
When asked what was still left to be worked on, the Acclaim spokesperson stated, "Currently, all the features are in place, but right now we have a lot of gameplay tweaking to do. We want to make sure that areas such as the collision detection are perfect."
The Nintendo 64 version of the game now carries a late August release date, while the PlayStation version is scheduled to release in mid-July.
