Summerslam is right around the corner, coming to Peacock on Saturday, August 21, the summer PPV promises numerous title matches featuring WWE wrestlers from Raw and Smackdown. It will also see icons Goldberg and John Cena each in a highly-anticipated match.
And yes, the next WWE PPV is taking place on a Saturday, not a Sunday, and Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas, Nevada will host the show. There will also be a large live audience in attendance, so expect a lot of noise. As of this writing, there are 11 matches on the card, and most of them are for championships. While no main event has been announced yet, it will either be the Universal Championship match between Roman Reigns and John Cena or the Raw Women's Championship between Nikki A.S.H., Charlotte Flair, and Rhea Ripley.

While the event is more than a week away, there are still a few high-profile matches that have already been booked. Both John Cena and Goldberg have returned to the WWE, and they've jumped the line to get themselves a championship match. Check out the match card below, which we'll keep updating as more bouts are added to the card. Hopefully, WWE won't be releasing any more high-profile wrestlers that are already booked on this card.
You can learn more about Nikki's thoughts on the upcoming match and becoming an "Almost Super Hero" on next week's episode of Wrestle Buddies, GameSpot's professional wrestling podcast, as Nikki will be a guest on the show.
