A quick bite for those who may have missed our news story: Sega has announced that its highly anticipated soccer management game for the PC, Worldwide Soccer Manager 2005, has shipped. The title was developed by Sports Interactive, the same group responsible for the Championship Manager series, another text-based management sim with a passionate following overseas.
While this announcement comes as fantastic news to PC footy fans across the globe, not everyone is as enamored with the prospect of WSM 2005's release. Issues of national sovereignty aside, however, I can hardly wait to get this one loaded up on my gaming rig. Stay tuned to GameSpot Sports for a full review of this title soon.
