Team 17 just can't kick its case of Worms. Today the UK-based publisher announced another relapse in the form of Worms: Ultimate Mayhem for the Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, and PC.
Given their often grim fate, Worms should be in a constant state of panic. Set for release this fall, Ultimate Mayhem is a downloadable compilation featuring revamped versions of Worms 3D and Worms 4: Mayhem. In addition to the full contents of both of those titles, Ultimate Mayhem will pack in new single-player missions, puzzles, and customization options.
Originally released in 2004, Worms 3D was the turn-based strategic shooter series' first excursion into the third dimension and packed in campaign, challenge, and multiplayer modes. Worms 4: Mayhem gave the heavily armed annelids a second 3D installment the following year and featured a single-player campaign with a time travel hook.
