Wonder Woman actress Gal Gadot has discussed the possibility of a third Wonder Woman movie, but according to a new report, Wonder Woman 3 is not in development at DC Studios right now.

　　Variety cited anonymous sources who said Wonder Woman 3 is "not in development" and that DC Studios bosses James Gunn and Peter Safran do not have plans for anything related to Wonder Woman except for the prequel series Paradise Lost for Max.

　　In an interview with Flaunt, Gadot said, "I was invited to a meeting with James Gunn and Peter Safran and what they told me, and I'm quoting: 'You're in the best hands. We're going to develop Wonder Woman 3 with you. [We] love you as Wonder Woman--you've got nothing to worry about.'"

　　Gadot also said "time will tell" if those plans ever come to fruition.

　　Sources told Variety that Gadot never received a promise of anything for Wonder Woman 3, nor were any "definitive" discussions held about the future of Gadot's Wonder Woman in the DC universe.

　　Back in December 2022, it was announced that a third Wonder Woman movie starring Gadot and directed by Patty Jenkins would no longer be moving forward, as it didn't mesh with what DC Studios CEOs Gunn and Safran had planned out. But in more recent times, Gadot has said it's back on.

　　Gadot said previously, "I love portraying Wonder Woman. It's so close to and dear to my heart. From what I heard from James and from Peter is that we're gonna develop a Wonder Woman 3 together."

　　Gadot recently appeared as Wonder Woman in Shazam! Fury of the Gods and The Flash in cameo roles. DC's newest slate of films kicks off with Superman: Legacy in 2025, featuring David Corenswet.
