A new Wild Hearts update is now available on all formats, featuring the first free content drop for the game and several balance changes and bug fixes that should improve the experience.
The biggest addition of the March 10th update is the new Hellfire Laharback Kemono, a new powerful variant of the main game's Lavaback monster that will test all hunters' skills. Additionally, the new update brings a new talisman skill that grants players additional customization options.
The new Wild Hearts update also brings, as mentioned, a huge number of balance adjustments, as well as fixes. The biggest among them is the ability to check out the full list of equipped skills during armor creation, a fix for an issue that prevents players from receiving rewards after hunting a certain giant kemono, and more. The full update notes can be found on the game's official website.
Unfortunately, the new Wild Hearts update doesn't seem to bring any performance improvements. The wonky performance, especially on PC, was the only major issue I had with the game, as I highlighted in my review. For the rest, the game is an amazing take on the hunting formula made popular by the Monster Hunter series and one that no fan of the genre should skip.
Wild Hearts is now available on PC, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X, and Xbox Series S worldwide. We will let you know more about future updates as soon as more come in on them, so stay tuned for all the latest news.
